Our training for Fire Wardens and Marshals has been specifically designed for those who have been allocated fire safety responsibilities within their workplace and require education in regards to fire safety, evacuation procedures, prevention, and practical use of fire safety equipment. 

 

 

The course is split into three sections, and offers complete teachings in the theory of fire safety and provides a practical session. These sections cover safe evacuation, prevention of fire through risk assessments and other methods, and hands on experience using fire safety paraphernalia. During the course, we will teach simple and effective ways to prevent fires, the difference between and purposes of each fire extinguisher and how to use them, along with how to classify different types of fire. 

 

The practical session included in the training allows attendees to get hands on experience reacting and responding to a fire, and offers a chance to safely and properly use appropriate fire extinguishers. During this section, our trained instructors will also demonstrate the correct use of a fire blanket. 

 

We believe that a mixture of theory and practical sessions provides the best learning experience for our clients. Breaking the course into sections allows for safety information to be easily digested and remembered. Practicing using an extinguisher helps eliminate time loss and improper use when confronted by a fire. 

 

 

This course is open to individuals working in any sector, from carers to office workers. We can even facilitate training of a whole workplace by creating a course that includes training that has been modified to the size of your workplace and the industry that you would within. 

 

 

This is a half-day course that lasts 2.5 to 3 hours. This includes a comfort break and a question and answer session at the end.
