The course will provide an overview into the roles of the Principle Contractor and how this has changed and will introduce the new role of the Principle Designer and how important this role becomes especially within the pre-construction phase of any project. The course will focus on this new role and what is expected from the Client when appointing a Principle Designer and Principle Contractor.
The course will also cover the roles other contractors and workers play within construction projects and will look at the key elements of all aspects mentioned within the regulations including Pre-construction information, the construction phase plan and the health and safety file and who holds duties within these phases of any construction project. The course will aim to provide the trainees with the tools to manage the risks involved in any construction project and will enable duty holders to set out and take control of the risks to health and safety in any construction project.
