First Aid Training
We offer a full range of first aid training programmes, taught by certified instructors who can tailor a course and provide guidance to help increase participants skill retention.
Learning Outcome:
To raise the awareness of employees to the hazards and risks associated with the safe handling and use of hazardous substances and the need to control their exposure. It will also ensure that they have an understanding of:
Relevant legislation and risk assessments
Control measures including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Emergency procedures
General first aid:
First Aid at Work - 3 day course
First Aid at Work Requalification - 2 day course for those whose first aid at work certification is due to expire
Emergency First Aid - a one-day (six hours) course for workplaces where a risk assessment indicates that emergency first aid knowledge only is sufficient.
First aid for work with children and young adults:
Anaphylaxis First Aid - 4 hours
Paediatric First Aid - 12 hours
Schools First Aid - 6 hours
Automated External Defibrillation - 2 hours
First aid for work with older people:
First Aid for Old People - 1 day course
