Pre-requisites
Delegates must have passed the full IOSH Managing Safely course within the last 3 years to be eligible to attend this course.
Aims and Objectives
The IOSH Managing Safely Refresher course is designed to provide continued support to managers in dealing with health and safety issues in the workplace. Specifically, the course aims to:
Revise key management responsibilities from the full IOSH Managing Safely course
Update relevant changes in good practice guidance, health and safety legislation and standards
The course will cover relevant issues such as:-
Revisiting managing safely
Assessing risks
Controlling risks
Understanding your responsibilities
Incident and accident investigation
Measuring performance
Course Material
Each delegate will be issued with a workbook to assist them both during and after the course which will contain information, guidance and forms to assist managers. The course is designed to be interactive, allowing delegates the opportunity to develop their skills with the support of the course tutor. Duration: 1 Day
Certification
At the conclusion of the course, delegates are required to undertake a multi-format assessment.
Delegates who successfully complete the assessment are rewarded with an IOSH Managing Safely Refresher certificate.
Cost:
£850.00 for a group size of 12-15 people, plus £45.00 per person for the IOSH Workbook, certification and registration (fully inclusive of trainer fees)
