This City and Guilds 2382-15 course is seen by many as "the" benchmark certification for all electricians, electrical engineers and anyone who is involved in the installation or design of electrical systems; the course itself is specifically designed for those who are seeking to achieve certification in the 17th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations. 

 

Covering comprehensively the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations, City and Guilds 2382-15 is widely recognised throughout the electrical industry as the “must have” qualification. It is seen by many in the industry as a mandatory requirement showing that a thorough understanding of the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations has been achieved. 

 

Amendment No. 3 publishes on 5 January 2015 and comes into effect on 1 July 2015. 

 

All new installations from this point must comply with Amendment No. 3 to BS 

 

7671:2008. So whether you are involved in domestic, commercial, or industrial electrical installations activities, City and Guilds 2382-15 qualification is widely regarded as a compulsory requirement for anyone involved in the electrical installation industry or is likely to be supervising those that are carrying out electrical installations. 

 

 

Although City and Guilds states that there are no "pre entry requirements" to attend this course, we strongly recommend that you should have some prior knowledge of electrical theory, electrical principles, and terminologies, together with a basic understanding of electrical installation circuits.
