IOSH Train the Trainer in People Moving and Handling 
What is Manual Handling? 
To provide students with the skills and knowledge to train others in Manual Handling in a safe and effective way 
To demonstrate an understanding of the three different learning styles, Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic 
Examine and discuss a range of teaching methods 
Explain the importance of Lesson Planning through Schemes of Works etc. 
Demonstrate an understanding of setting goals for student through the use of Aims and Objectives. 
Examine what feedback is and demonstrate an understanding that it is absolutely essential for trainers to monitor students’ learning in order to give them feedback 
Understanding how knowing our audience’s aims and objectives can help settle nerves 
Appreciate that careful planning and preparation of course information, hand-outs and equipment assists in the smooth running of courses 
Recognise common simple errors with PowerPoint slides 
Demonstrating an understanding of how room layouts can ensure the smooth running of a course and inclusivity 
Using equipment as a teaching aid such as Flip Charts 
£3350.00 for a group size of 15-20 people, plus £50.00 for course registration, plus £38.00 per person for the IOSH Workbook, certification and registration (fully inclusive of trainers fees).
