We offer a full range of accredited construction health and safety courses. Our courses are the most highly respected qualifications in the industry and are designed to give UK construction companies and their workers the skills, knowledge and tools to ensure their businesses are run in a safe, efficient and effective way by fully qualified professionals. This is essential for construction businesses to survive and prosper in a highly competitive industry in a tough economic environment with increasing legislative pressure. We offer accredited construction safety courses from the following respected bodies:
CITB (Construction Industry Training Board)
NEBOSH (National Examination Board for Occupational Safety and Health)
IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health
All of our courses are taught by highly qualified health and safety tutors who are all full chartered members of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety and who also have extensive experience of working in industry. That means all of our courses aren’t heavily theory based; delegates will get the benefit of real-life, practical experience too, and that is invaluable.
Our CITB Courses
Here at SA Associates Training, we run the three major NEBOSH training courses:
The Management of CDM 2015
This is a 3 day course and is aimed at anyone who is a duty holder or involved in construction planning, management and design. The course has been developed to guide delegates through the new 2015 Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS )
This course is designed for construction professionals such as site managers, project managers and senior supervisors, as well as the owner managers of smaller construction companies. Other personnel that would benefit from attending the course would be those members of staff that are client facing.
CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
This CITB course is for those people who have supervisory responsibilities or who are set to have such responsibilities in the near future. It is the standard training for all supervisors working on UKCG sites and gives delegates a broad understanding of site health and safety.
IOSH Working Safely (CSCS Card Equivalent)
The IOSH Working Safely course is a popular one day health and safety course that is recognised by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme as an equivalent to the Level 1 health and safety in a construction environment award which means that it enables those who are successful on the course to apply for their green CSCS card.
NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
This course is aimed at those in construction managers and supervisors and aims to give them a broad knowledge of construction site health and safety which will help them as leaders to ensure their site is ran safely and effectively. It looks at a wide range of areas including mechanical and manual handling, work equipment, working at height and confined spaces.
